Villa Umah di Beji - Bath of the gods
Built on approx. 3,000 square metres of land, the villa design is centred around an impressive 15m X 5m black lava stone swimming pool fronting the river, which rises up towards the sky as if to invite the gods themselves to bathe. The use of the lava stones permits the creation of a mirror to reflect the sky and villa surroundings in the clear water. As befits its name, water features significantly in this villa design. Several small ponds and fountains can be found within the landscaping. Wherever one chooses to relax in this home’s numerous idyllic spots, sounds of trickling water seduces the senses.
